Helen’s Garden

From the very first moment I stepped into this garden, I knew it had a story to tell.
The homeowner was renovating her barbecue area, and from that came the desire to bring new life to the outdoors.
There was something truly magical about this place.
One of the elements that inspired us most was an antique iron gate, a genuine treasure from the early 1900s. It had no welds — only rivets, a testament to the craftsmanship of another era. We knew it had to become the soul of the new design, a focal point connecting past and present.
A magnificent Parthenocissus tricuspidata vine climbs across a large wall, marking the rhythm of the seasons. In autumn, its foliage glows with deep reds, filling the space with warmth and character. To accompany that natural beauty, we designed a double pathway leading to the back of the garden, framed by two semicircular areas that invite you to pause, sit, and simply enjoy.
The most special touch came with the addition of an edible flower garden and the planting of flowering cherry trees, which in spring transform the space into a spectacular display of colour. And there, as a silent witness to time, a majestic mulberry tree offers its fruit — lovingly gathered by the homeowner for her favourite recipes.
This garden was not only renewed; it found its purpose. Today, it is a living space where every element tells a story, every corner invites to enjoyment, and every detail speaks of a deep love for nature and time well spent.
