The aim of this project was to create an outdoor space that promotes the physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being of those who enjoy the garden.
Aromatic Garden:
We designed an area filled with a variety of fragrant plants that hold special meaning for the residents, featuring key species such as lavender, mint, rosemary, and jasmine. These scents stimulate the sense of smell and offer a relaxing, pleasant experience.
Pergola Walkways:
Along the garden paths, we created pergolas that allow residents to appreciate a range of aromas and colors, enhanced by climbing plants, jasmines, and wisterias.
Rest Area with Pond:
A small pond with fish brings to the space a sense of calm, freshness, and peace.
Bird and Butterfly
Observation Zones:
Watching wildlife can be both fascinating and soothing. We planted shrubs and flowers that attract birds and butterflies, and added feeders and water stations to encourage biodiversity.
Raised Vegetable Beds:
Gardening activities can be deeply therapeutic and rewarding. We created accessible raised planters for residents who use wheelchairs or have limited mobility.
Outdoor Relaxation Spaces:
We added circular seating areas along the paths, placed under the trees to take advantage of natural shade. In areas without trees, triangular shade sails were installed to create cool, comfortable gathering spots.
