We approached this project with great enthusiasm, inspired by our client — a passionate chef — and her dream of living surrounded by greenery while cultivating her own vegetable garden to bring even more life to her kitchen.
One of the main challenges was defining the main entrance, as the usual access to the house was through a side path. We turned that challenge into an opportunity by creating a clearly defined entryway where each plant invites you to pause and enjoy the walk.
We designed two vegetable gardens that capture the spirit of the place: one in the backyard, filled with seasonal vegetables, and another next to the kitchen, with fresh herbs always within reach.
Green corridors on both sides of the house add freshness, while the two planters with agaves at the main entrance — brought from her previous home — offer a warm welcome filled with memories and meaning. To ensure privacy without losing connection to the surroundings, we covered the façade of the study and living room windows with tall plantings.
Each season brings new highlights: the plum trees at the entrance bloom just as other plants rest, creating a focal point for contemplation.
This garden fills us with pride — not only for the final result, but for the journey we shared when carrying out the project.
